This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated vet to take the lead at Medivet Adlington, a successful first-opinion practice with an extremely loyal client base. With the full support of our regional team and wider network of practices, you’ll have the chance to establish strong client relationships and further develop and shape the future of the practice. We’re particularly keen to hear from vets who hold, or are working towards, a certificate in dermatology or ophthalmology. With a growing caseload in both areas and a highly engaged client base, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a service around your clinical interests and make your mark in a well-established community practice. You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team, including a nursing team with over 40 years of combined experience. You’ll also work alongside Sarah, a highly experienced veterinary surgeon with 28 years in practice, who also offers acupuncture as part of her clinical expertise. The role includes sole charge two days per week, allowing you to take full clinical ownership while still benefiting from strong team collaboration and support. The practice is well-equipped with a dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, and Tonopen. You’ll also have access to laparoscopic equipment at one of our nearby Medivet practices. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be confident in small animal practice with a client-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. You’ll work to a high standard both medically and surgically, and bring the drive and ambition to lead and inspire your team. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, with 1 in 3 Saturdays at Medivet Standish. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements that suit your needs.
