At PGS Group, we are seeking a proactive Maintenance Responsible to join our team at our pallet site in the Essex area (Grays).
As part of a vertically integrated, fast-growing group that operates from "tree to truck," you will contribute to our mission of efficiency and quality.
* Preparation of maintenance and repair schedules and development of the maintenance schedule.
o Planning curative maintenance.
o Planning preventive maintenance.
o Planning corrective maintenance.
* Managing maintenance technicians and subcontractor.
o Succession.
o Training and managing.
o Assistance with technical problems.
* Overseeing the production process and formulating and implementing improvements.
* Optimization of machines.
* Supervision.
* Spare parts warehouse management.
o Purchase of spare parts in cooperation with Procurement.
o Consumption, monitoring and ordering of parts within the competences in collaboration with the prevention service.
o Article creation and stock management.
* Monitoring of investments in the technical field (machines – buildings).
o Preparation of the request for quotation.
o Quotation analyses.
o Management.
* Reporting to the plant manager.
* Administrative management of technical information.
Who are we looking for?
1. Technical degree or equivalent through experience.
2. At least 5 years experience in a similar position.
3. Excellent and broad technical insight.
4. Have good people skills and the ability to motivate and stimulate a team.
5. Safety and quality conscious.
6. Analytical and problem-solving thinking.
7. Leadership skills for managing the maintenance team.
8. Stress resistant.
9. Administratively strong.
10. Languages: English, eventual other foreign languages.
