An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join a well-established accountancy practice supporting a diverse client base delivering high-quality financial services across multiple sectors.
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting efficient financial operations.
This full-time, permanent role offers a salary range of £25, - £30, and benefits.
You will be responsible for
1. Maintaining and updating financial records using accounting software
2. Managing accounts payable and receivable
3. Reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow
4. Preparing monthly financial reports for clients
5. Supporting audits with accurate documentation
6. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
What we are looking for
7. Previously worked as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Junior Accountant, Accounts Clerk, Accounting Assistant or in a similar role preferably within accountancy practice
8. Highly skilled in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
9. Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
10. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
11. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
