Job Title - IT Support Analyst
Location - Glasgow City Centre
Optical Express is one of the world’s leading providers of laser eye surgery, with the largest number of clinics throughout the UK and Europe. Operating over 110 clinics, the group is present in the UK, Ireland, Croatia, and Germany.
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to join our Head Office in Glasgow City Centre. The role involves supporting both the head office and operational sites across Scotland, requiring visits to various locations. A driving license is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with strong analytical skills and customer service experience, gained within an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, or Call Centre environment.
Hours are primarily between 8 AM and 5:30 PM, on a rotational shift basis, with some flexibility needed.
Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, mobile devices, and printers.
* Manage IT tickets from start to finish, including communication and resolution.
* Understand and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Utilize Active Directory for user account management, troubleshooting, and permissions.
* Provide on-site support at various company locations and collaborate with team members on projects.
* Manage and troubleshoot mobile devices.
* Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
* Possessing Microsoft certifications such as MCP or MCSE, and ITIL knowledge, is advantageous.
* Create and manage user groups, permissions, and settings using NTFS and Group Policy.
* Maintain asset records, manage stock, and issue items.
