Role: Senior Support - Sanctions Specialist

Job Summary: The Compliance Team ensures PwC CI complies with Guernsey and Jersey AML regulations and supports adherence to auditor independence and ethics. Responsibilities include monitoring, testing, policy updates, and reporting to leadership.
Responsibilities:
1. Compliance Monitoring: Assist with sanctions screening activities, support quarterly monitoring, maintain breach registers, and report in MLCO reports.
2. Advisory: Handle policy queries, act as first contact for sanctions questions, develop training materials.
3. Reporting: Complete MLCO and Fiduciary Licensee reports, support policy updates.
4. Data Management: Prepare data for regulatory submissions, ensure datasets are accurate, liaise with tech teams.
5. Policies & Procedures: Draft updates to sanctions policies, review impact assessments, contribute to BRA updates.
6. Projects: Support sanctions compliance projects, track progress.
Qualifications & Certifications: Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW), ICA Certificate or similar (preferred), further study support available.
Skills & Experience: Experience in compliance monitoring or audit in Channel Islands, attention to detail, organized, proactive, strong communication skills, knowledge of Jersey and Guernsey AML and sanctions regulations (desirable), proficiency with compliance systems.
Travel: Occasional travel between Jersey and Guernsey (circa 2-3 times/year).
