My client is a well-established Building Services Consultancy with a strong focus on sustainable design and energy efficiency that are seeking an experienced Intermediate Level IES Modeller to join their team in the South East/Kent region. This consultancy delivers a diverse range of M&E and building performance projects across the UK, collaborating closely with architects and clients to optimise building performance, energy use, and occupant comfort.

Day‑to‑Day
* Running thermal and energy models to assess building performance.
* Preparing reports and documentation for Part L compliance and energy strategies.
* Attending project meetings with architects, engineers, and clients to provide insights on energy efficiency and sustainability.
* Reviewing project designs and providing recommendations to improve energy performance.
* Staying updated on industry standards and regulations related to building performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
* Conducting dynamic thermal modelling using IES VE software.
* Supporting Part L compliance, overheating analysis, and energy strategy development.
* Collaborating with design teams to influence and optimise building performance.
* Providing technical input on sustainability and low‑carbon design principles.
* Working on a variety of projects across multiple sectors, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
* Proven experience using IES VE for building performance modelling.
* Strong understanding of Part L, SBEM, and thermal modelling principles.
* A passion for sustainability and low‑carbon design.
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
