This company offers a range of engineering services to offshore race boats and yachts. With continued expansion, now serving clients in Dubai and America, they are looking to add another talented engineer to the team.
This role will see the successful candidate be responsible for general maintenance and repairs on vessels and watercraft, both for clients and resale. The position requires an ability to work independently, in locations across Europe, predominately in southern France and Spain, for extended periods of time. This company is based in Dorset, but the ideal candidate can be located nearer the Mediterranean.

The Role:
Working abroad for 2 - 4 weeks at a time, with time off in between each shift
Performing a variety of outboard and inboard engine maintenance
Varied work on leisure boats and small RIBS as well as auxiliary engines to large sailing and motor yachts
Installation, service, repairs and fault finding on electrical and plumbing works
Fibreglass and composite repairs
Installation of a range of mechanical and domestic equipment to new and used boats
Diagnostics, fault finding and troubleshootingThe Person:
Proven experience as a marine engineer
Willingness to work abroad and remotely for multiple weeks at a time
Full UK driving licence
