GSL Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support to a pupil in a friendly and inclusive school within Chichester. This is an excellent opportunity to help a child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally through consistent, individualised support. As a 1:1 LSA, you will: Provide personalised support to a pupil with additional learning needs, helping them engage fully in lessons. Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted learning materials and targeted interventions. Encourage the pupil’s confidence, independence, and wellbeing through positive reinforcement. Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teacher and SENCo. Help maintain a focused, supportive, and safe learning environment. Build trusting relationships with staff, pupils, and parents to ensure consistent support. Requirements for the role of 1:1 Learning Support Assistant : Previous experience working with children with SEN or in a 1:1 setting is highly desirable. A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting individual needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies.
