Are you passionate about supporting young children in their earliest stages of learning and development? A welcoming and nurturing early years setting in Barnsley is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their team.

About the Role:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children aged 2–5 within a structured early years setting, helping to deliver engaging activities that support early development across communication, language, social skills and early numeracy and literacy. You will work alongside staff to create a stimulating environment where children feel secure, supported and ready to learn.
Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging early years activities
* Work with individual children and small groups to support development and learning
* Encourage communication, social interaction and independence skills
* Maintain a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment
* Support behaviour and emotional development in line with early years practice
* Assist with daily routines, including play-based learning and structured activities
* Observe and feedback on children’s progress to support planning
Requirements:
* Experience working within early years or childcare settings is desirable
* Understanding of EYFS framework is beneficial
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patient, caring and nurturing approach
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Genuine passion for supporting early childhood development
