Facilitate the definition of the project scope, requirements, and deliverables using Culina standard documentation.
Define project tasks and resource requirements using Culina standard documentation.
Manage the project budget in line with business expectations and budgetary commitments.
Assemble and lead a project team.
Develop, control, and communicate the project plan, timeline, and milestones.
Track and report project deliverables to the project team and stakeholders.
Identify and manage inter-project dependencies and critical paths.
Manage risks, issues, and changes on an ongoing basis, highlighting appropriate risks to the PMO.
Deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations as required by the PMO Framework.
Ensure that any deliverables requiring support in steady state are handed over to the relevant teams.
Ensure that legal and procurement processes are followed.
Close the project, ensuring lessons learned are documented.
Follow applicable policies, frameworks, standards, and guidelines identified for the particular project.
Produce reports for key stakeholders as required by the PMO Framework.
Be responsible for acquiring resources (internal and nominated third-party, if required) and coordinating the effort of team members to deliver projects according to plan and budget.
Assemble and coordinate project teams (business, IT, and external).
Negotiate with resource owners and ensure project targets are provided for project resources.
Identify roles and responsibilities for the project team.
Where third-party contract negotiations are required, work with the relevant procurement team to ensure procedures are followed.
Identify and agree on participation of the project sponsor and establish project steering groups if required.
Identify and liaise with key stakeholders to provide applicable governance for the project.
Regularly monitor and report progress to all stakeholders and the steering group.
Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to project success.
Gain confidence of the business and colleagues through good communication and influencing skills, acting as an advocate for the Project Management team.
Support and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Foster collaboration through clear and inclusive communication.
Lead projects with integrity, acting proactively and decisively when taking the lead on tough issues.
Logistics experience is advantageous but not essential.
Degree or relevant solid project management experience.
Business and/or computing-related apprenticeship or degree.
Proven experience in project management, people management, planning, requirements management, change management, supplier management, risk & issue management.
Proven experience in sponsor and stakeholder management.
Ability to think creatively and work under pressure.
Experience in reviewing strategy, understanding, and applying it to project work.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of IT applications.
Experience in successfully implementing complex projects.
Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, FMCG is preferred.
Willingness to travel as needed.
May be required to work outside normal business hours.
