Location: Head Office – East Grinstead, West Sussex Job Type: Full-time | On-site Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum DOE About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our accounts department at our Head Office in East Grinstead, West Sussex. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both finance and accounting functions within a supportive and growing team. Key Responsibilities Process and administer incoming payments from various sources Take customer payments over the phone Provide support with credit control and monthly payment processing Assist with processing and verifying payable and purchase invoices Support bookkeeping tasks and data entry Process expense claims accurately and in a timely manner Scan, file, and manage accounts documents Assist the accounts team with general administrative duties as required 1–2 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounts role Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, accounts payable, and credit control principles Strong numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail Excellent English communication skills and telephone manners Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Customer service orientation and negotiation skills Highly organised, responsible, and a team player Advantageous: Fluency in Italian and/or Russian Interest in finance/accounting (e.g. working towards an AAT qualification is a plus) Competitive salary between £25K and £26K (DOE) Access to free short courses and personal development opportunities Store discount card Bike to work scheme Two company events per year Additional holiday with length of service (up to 26 days Bank Holidays) Paid sick leave after 1 year of employment Experience: Minimum 1 year in a relevant role Languages: English (required); Italian/Russian (advantageous) Work authorisation: Must have the right to work in the UK Location: This role is office-based in East Grinstead (no remote working)
