Job overview
The Sefton Place Planned Therapy Service is delivered between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of rehabilitation to adults (predominantly older people) primarily within the North Sefton area, providing a programme of therapeutic activities and interventions under the direction and supervision of a qualified therapist. The post holder will be required to actively work as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The Post Holder will be expected to work in an innovative way to support the smooth running of the Service and may be required to offer individual /group activities alongside other therapy staff and under the indirect and direct supervision of a qualified therapist. The Post Holder will also support senior staff and the service with a range of other tasks, including the delivering and setting up of equipment when required. We are committed to staff development and you will have a named supervisor, the support of physiotherapists and occupational therapists as well as the opportunity to attend courses and training. There are a number of apprenticeship opportunities within the organisation each year for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy which may interest those who wish to progress their career in this way.

To participate in clinical governance and quality improvement projects allocated by the Senior Clinical Lead Therapists.
