Customer Service Advisor
We are looking for a friendly proactive Customer Service Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time position, office based, working 37hrs per week. If you have experience in customer service or order processing ideally within a manufacturing or fast paced environment this role would be a great next step.
Overall Purpose and aims of the role:
·To ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
·To work alongside Sales to pro-actively service the associated customer base.
·To work safely and efficiently to the standards and procedures required to help maintain the company’s Management Systems.
Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility
·To provide day to day contact for assigned customer base.
·To enter customer schedules/orders in a timely and efficient manner.
·To provide a timely response to customer queries.
·To ensure effective communication, internal and external, takes place in all aspects of Customer Service.
·To provide support to the Sales department to ensure the associated customer base is serviced to the highest standard.
·To prepare and distribute weekly KPI reports.
·To monitor On Time Delivery reporting reasons for not achieving target.
·To support Sales/Engineering on new projects.
·To maintain IFS ensuring the relevant information is kept up to date.
·To monitor and identify part obsolescence with a view to minimising company liability.
·To place orders with suppliers for production materials as stated by the MRP system.
·To attend daily production meetings
·To attend weekly shortage meetings.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:
·Able to communicate proactively across all areas of the business.
·Willing to approach others for advice and information.
·Self-motivated
·Approachable manner
·Good organisational skills
·Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
·Accuracy and attention to detail
·Creative and forward thinking – look for improvements in current systems
