1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

A small village primary school on the outskirts of Swindon is looking for a part-time, 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support an EYFS pupil with Down’s Syndrome, every morning from September 2025.
The school offers a rich, engaging learning experience built around strong community links and a commitment to helping every child discover their unique strengths and interests.
With afternoons free, this role provides meaningful part-time work while still leaving space for your family or other commitments.
Role Overview
* 1:1 Specialist TA for EYFS pupil with Down’s Syndrome
* Part-time
* Monday - Friday mornings (8:45am–1pm)
* September 2025 – August 2026
* Nurturing Village School
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Be empathetic with a kind and caring demeanour, putting the needs of children above all else
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Be able to take the initiative to best meet the needs of the child being supported, displaying a clear understanding of the different ways they learn
* Show passion, enthusiasm, and creativity when engaging with children of all primary ages and abilities
* Be able to work in the UK
* Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or we can process one for you)
