Business Support Assistant needed in Wrexham, £12.21ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1521476
This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and customer service support within the Department. Responsibilities include:
1. Being the primary contact for internal and external queries, handling visitors, phone calls, emails, and customer needs in line with departmental standards.
2. Managing data entry, retrieval, and presentation in electronic and manual systems, supporting reporting needs.
3. Developing and maintaining local databases, spreadsheets, and systems, and generating routine reports.
4. Providing reception services, guiding visitors and callers appropriately.
5. Building and maintaining a network of contacts to support departmental services.
6. Distributing relevant information efficiently to all contacts.
7. Setting up and managing files and records, both electronic and manual, including archiving.
8. Handling incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and email correspondence, including diary management.
9. Providing word processing, Excel, PowerPoint support, and preparing reports and correspondence.
10. Managing office supplies and stock inventories.
11. Performing financial administrative tasks such as invoice coding, ordering, petty cash handling, and processing payments.
12. Organizing meetings, preparing documentation, booking travel and accommodation, and taking minutes.
13. Maintaining confidential employee records and ensuring data security.
14. Upholding confidentiality and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
This is a full-time role on a temporary basis.
