Job Role: Sales Development Representative

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham B46 / Hybrid Role

Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Commission Plan

Trakm8 is a UK based technology leader in fleet management, insurance telematics, connected car, and optimisation. Through IP owned technology, the Group uses AI data analytics from its installed base of telematics units to fine tune the algorithms used to produce its solutions; these monitor driver behaviour, identify crash events, and monitor vehicle health to provide actionable insights to continuously improve the security and operational efficiency of both company fleets and private drivers.

The Group's product portfolio includes the latest data analytics and reporting portal (Trakm8 Insight), integrated telematics/cameras/optimisation, self-installed telematics units and one of the widest ranges of installed telematics devices. Trakm8 has over 255,000 connections.

Headquartered in Coleshill near Birmingham alongside its manufacturing facility, the Group supplies to the Fleet, Optimisation, Insurance and Automotive sectors to many well-known customers in the UK and internationally.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Development Representative. We are looking for an ambitious hard-working individual with focus and drive. You will be working for a company in which you can progress, showcase your skills and experience, and make a real difference to our revenue goals. You will be working in our newly formed sales development team, and report into our Fleet & Optimisation Sales Director.


Main Responsibilities

* Create and find fully qualified sales opportunities for our corporate sales team by researching and pre-qualifying prospective customers.
* Manage inbound sales query line and identify potential opportunities for the corporate sales team
* Identify multiple decision-makers and influencers within relevant businesses within all levels of our target customer segments.
* Call, message on LinkedIn, and email prospects to discover sales opportunities, develop rapport and drive the conversation.
* Work with sales tools such as LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Loom/Vidyard (or other video messaging tools) and Salesforce.
* Arrange and attend discovery calls/meetings via Zoom/in person with prospects in conjunction with our corporate sales team to identify ‘pain points’ and understand more about their requirements.
* Build strong intercompany relationships with other staff /colleagues liaising with the sales teams as appropriate.
* Attend appropriate events to build and develop relationships.
* Work towards individual monthly and quarterly KPIs and targets to help the wider sales and marketing team goals.


Requirements

* Excellent communication skills – both written and oral, and interpersonal skills.
* You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a growth mindset.
* A confident telephone manner and outgoing personality. Have the confidence and ability to record audio and short video messages for prospects.
* Accurate data inputting skills and manage pipeline – using our Salesforce CRM
* Ideally experienced working for a B2B/SaaS company.
* Able to manage your time efficiently and can take a disciplined approach to setting up your day.
* Excellent sales development or business development background with the ability to speak with senior business owners/directors and deliver against target KPI’s.
* Previous experience of using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
