Licensed Practical Nurse - Pain Management

Minimum Qualifications:
* Degree: Certificate. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification. Proof of graduation from an approved National League of Nursing LPN program.
* Education: Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by bodies such as NLNAC, CCNE, CNEA, or other acceptable accrediting organizations.
* Experience: At least 24 months of experience in Healthcare Administration, case management, social work, or family advocacy within the past 48 months.
* Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse.

Required Skills/Abilities:
* Provide care to diverse patient populations, initiating, performing, and completing assigned duties.
* Perform patient care based on individual patient conditions, using sound judgment in procedures and treatments, and accurately documenting relevant information.
* Respond to patient needs, including medication administration, equipment-assisted care, and education for patients and families.
* Prepare and administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous) and perform treatments per policies.
* Recognize urgent or emergent situations, seek assistance from RNs or MDs/DOs, and initiate emergency interventions as directed.
* Support diagnostic tests and procedures by preparing patients, assisting with examinations, handling equipment, and monitoring patient status before, during, and after procedures.
