Overview
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Permanent/Fixed Term. Time: 35 hours per week, term-time plus 10 days. Salary: Scale 6 (Point 18 - £35,520 to Point 20 - £36,585 full time). Prorated salary range is likely to be approximately £31,337 – £32,276, depending on experience, weeks per year and continuous service. Plus SEN Allowance.
Commencing: as soon as possible.
Barking Abbey School is seeking a passionate, self-motivated and inspirational HLTA to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the introduction of a new parallel curriculum to support pupils with SEND.
Location: Barking Abbey School (dual campus) in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The school is approximately <1 mile from Upney tube and within 15 minutes of Barking mainline station.
