The Role As a Senior Project Control Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be working on of the nation’s most complex engineering projects, supporting the British naval Fleet. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with both Project and Programme Managers whilst leading a team of project controls professionals. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the project team, wider functional teams, suppliers and customers. In addition, you will be expected to support with on-going development of the Projects Controls capability. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, maintain, and own the project performance measurement baseline. * Provide accurate, timely management reports to internal and external stakeholders, enabling informed decisions by Project and Programme Managers. * Collect independent evidence to validate progress towards project success criteria. * Integrate and align project control tools across contract partners and subcontractors as needed. * Establish and maintain a robust Earned Value Management (EVM) system, generating detailed reports to ensure contract compliance and support decision-making. * Implement continuous risk management processes, including schedule risk analysis and regular risk reporting in accordance with contract requirements.
