Teaching Assistant - KS1 (Full-Time, Long-Term)Location: Glossop
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Glossop. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Key Stage 1 setting, supporting pupils in their early stages of education within a nurturing and engaging environment.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher to support learning, deliver interventions, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom
* Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
* Assist in the delivery of lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Help manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Support pupils with varying abilities to reach their full potential
Requirements:
* Previous experience working within a Primary School setting, ideally KS1
* Strong understanding of relevant schemes of learning
* Confident supporting phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, positive, and flexible approach
