Production Editor Assistant - Central London (Hybrid)
An esteemed medical society publisher in Central London is seeking a motivated Production Editor Assistant to join its closeknit production team. This organisation is internationally recognised for its influential orthopaedic journals and digital resources, and its team works on a hybrid basis, with the office open Tuesday to Thursday.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and an interest in academic or medical publishing to play a key role in the smooth delivery of a respected portfolio of journals and digital products.
The role includes:
·Supporting the planning, editing, and production of multiple journals, including managing content within an online editorial system
·Working closely with senior production staff, assisting with submissions, preparing files for online publication, and liaising with authors
·Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to house style throughout the production process
·Uploading supplementary materials and maintaining content across journal websites.
·Contributing to wider publishing and administrative projects as needed
What you'll bring:
·Degreelevel education or equivalent experience.
·Ideally some experience in a similar production or editorial role.
·Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
·A genuine interest in production and medical publishing.
·Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with flexibility and a proactive approach.
