Senior Project Engineer
Your responsibilities:
* Your primary responsibility will be to design utility scale ground mounted solar PV and BESS projects with an initial focus on project development support
* Using industry standard software, technical design work will progress from preliminary to detail level in line with the projects development maturity
* Optimizing layouts and yields based on constraint analysis
* Design in compliance with industry codes and standards and incorporating feedback from Construction, Operations and Development
* Support the preparation of post-construction documentation
* Provide expertise during project development and implementation, remotely and on site
* Support and lead technical due diligences
* Optimal cooperation within Renewables, consisting of developers, engineers, project-, contract- and offtake-managers, market and strategy analysts as well as a network of external partners
* Strong stakeholder management activities internally and externally
Your profile:
* Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field)
* Extensive experience in utility-scale solar design and project delivery
* Proficiency in solar PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD) and understanding of renewable energy systems
* Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and system optimization capabilities
* Proven track record of international work experience and cultural adaptability
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Business fluency in English (other languages are an advantage)
* Open-minded, proactive, and detail-oriented
