The Role
As an MET Technician at Steer Whitland, you’ll play a crucial role in the safe and efficient repair of vehicles. From fault diagnosis to the precise fitting and alignment of components, your work will help ensure every vehicle is returned to the road in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) work to manufacturer repair standards
Accurately diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs
Work collaboratively with the paint and panel teams to ensure smooth job flow
Maintain a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
Follow all workshop processes and health and safety protocols
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as an MET Technician (experience with prestige or mainstream brands welcome)
ATA accreditation, or willingness to work towards it
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
A methodical, detail-oriented approach to repairs
A team player with a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
