The Opportunity Radar Healthcare's newTranslation Admin Assistant For over 20 years, EIDO Healthcare has been providing resources and support to help health professionals reduce the risk of litigation. Over that time we have developed several products and have others in the pipeline. Our products are designed to support health professionals in both obtaining and recording informed consent from patients. Our products are currently used in nearly 50% of acute NHS hospitals and over 80% of private hospitals. EIDO Healthcare is committed to helping our customers achieve excellence in the vital areas of informed consent and clinical governance. In recent years there has been a high demand for translations of EIDO products into multiple languages, both domestically and internationally, which is why we are recruiting for a translations assistant to support the translations project manager with the multiple translation projects in place. What you’ll be doing to make a difference: Assist with translation updates to existing documents of the EIDO library Assist with translations of new documents Manage live library updates Manage and maintain translation assets (translation memories, glossaries) Assist with general admin duties for the wider Editorial team Your journey so far Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or other professional certification related to translation or localisation Work experience in a similar environment desirable, ideally using linguistic skills on a regular basis, including the following: Updates to existing information previously translated Familiarity with translation work-flows, proofreading, final-eye checks Experience of using CAT tools – e.g. Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, etc. Using/implementing new tools/technologies Fluency in written and spoken English and a good level of numeracy Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Outlook, Excel) Even better if you… Are fluent in at least one other language The Bigger Picture Whilst we value professional experiences and qualifications, we’re committed to maintaining a culture of growth and development here at Radar Healthcare.
