Job Description:
HSE Manager
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced over the past two years with successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While this role is multi-site focused, it emphasizes both oversight and hands-on responsibility across all Health and Safety aspects.
The manufacturing environment requires previous experience in radiation and/or radioactivity, including creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
As the business plans to expand its facilities, the HSE Manager will also be responsible for developing new documentation and processes for implementation.
The position is remote-based and not tied to a single facility, but travel to sites approximately once per month is expected. Flexibility to travel within the UK is essential, and a car/car allowance will be provided.
Initially, in the first 6 months, there will be a requirement to spend 3 days on-site at a South-East facility in Surrey to support immediate needs.
For further information, please contact Mark Bux-Ryan.
Key experience includes:
* Established HSE professional with hands-on experience
* Experience in radioactive environments (not necessarily pharmaceuticals)
* IRR17 experience and radiological risk assessments
* Practical approach and ability to work with all levels in the organization
