Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to work nights only? Join our Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Service Community Night Nursing team! Applications from candidates requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible.
Responsibilities include:
1. Being responsible for all aspects of your professional activities and supporting the shift lead.
2. Providing direct patient care in their homes, including support for palliative care.
3. Assisting with managerial and clerical duties at the St Leonard's hub, such as telephone triage with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
4. Ensuring medical instructions are followed and equipment is maintained.
5. Driving service vehicles across Dorset, equipped with nursing supplies.
6. Supporting autonomous nursing care with a Healthcare Assistant, promoting independence and wellbeing.
Post-qualification experience in autonomous roles is desirable but not essential. A full UK driving license is required. The role is part-time, 34.5 hours per week over 3 nights (20:00-08:00), with options for minimum 23 hours over 2 nights. Rota patterns are flexible and can be discussed at interview.
Employment requires an Enhanced DBS check, which the Trust will cover.
