Job Title: Superintendent Pharmacist (GPhC Registered)
Location: Flexible Hybrid/Remote with site visits to West/North-West London
Salary: £40,000£50,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonuses + Profit Share

About the Role
We are an ambitious healthcare start-up launching an innovative pharmacy service. We are looking for a Superintendent Pharmacist to take a central role in setting up and managing the business, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and supporting future growth.
As the named Superintendent Pharmacist with the GPhC, you will lead our GPhC and CQC applications and help shape the company from the ground up. The role will initially be part-time during the set-up phase, with the opportunity to transition into full-time once the business is fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the named Superintendent Pharmacist with the GPhC.
* Lead on regulatory applications (GPhC, CQC) and ensure compliance.
* Develop SOPs, governance frameworks, and ensure inspection readiness.
* Oversee online prescribing and distance-selling models with a focus on patient safety.
* Support tech-assisted prescribing and automation adoption.
* Provide professional leadership with progression into a managerial/leadership role.
About You
* Current GPhC registration and eligible/willing to be named Superintendent Pharmacist.
* Minimum 3 years post-registration experience (online pharmacy experience desirable).
* Strong knowledge of GPhC compliance and inspection requirements.
* Preferably experienced in:
o Distance-selling or online pharmacy operations
o SOP creation and governance frameworks
o Liaising with regulators
o CQC requirements for online prescribing models
o GLP-1 prescribing and supply (desirable, not essential)
* Open to innovation and new models of care while maintaining compliance.
