Overview
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks (including a criminal record check).
Responsibilities
* Design wind tunnel models in Catia V5 and ensure they can be easily manufactured and assembled, liaising closely with suppliers to ensure they can deliver.
* Take pride in other designers, both in our internal team and in the supply chain, delivering designs under your leadership.
* Work in a multi-disciplinary, international team to share ideas and develop novel solutions.
* Develop your own technical know‑how and tackle new, bigger challenges or problems to solve.
* Keen to develop structural analysis of wind tunnel models in the Catia Elfini package.
* Mechanical engineering experience.
* Good, hands-on design skills, ideally in Catia V5.
* Knowledge of design for manufacture of metallic structures and an awareness of potential compliance risks with a commitment to integrity.
