A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within our Intel Team for an Intelligence Analyst to assist the business in researching suspected fraudulent compensation claims. This is a specialist role within the Intelligence Services department, based at our Manchester office, involving case research and analysis of suspected fraudulent claims. You will utilize the firm’s software to screen internal and external databases to identify potentially fraudulent claims. This is an entry-level role in the Intel Department.

What will you be doing?
* Review, analyze, and disseminate covert and confidential intelligence to the wider firm
* Use analytical skills to identify suspect links between parties, organizations, and claims, along with identifying trends and indicators of emerging fraud
* Provide detailed Intelligence Reports for clients and solicitors
* Provide witness statements based on intelligence findings and attend court
* Conduct external database searches
* Analyze and review social media platforms to identify key information
* Ensure delivery of professional excellence and expertise
* Manage and prioritize work to meet client and firm needs
* Think creatively and outside the box
* Work independently and as part of a team
* Comply with relevant Data Protection regulations
What do I need?
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in Office 365 products
* Knowledge of social media platform functionalities
* Understanding of intelligence handling conditions (NIM) and protective marking classifications
* Desirable: Knowledge of IBM i2 Analyst Notebook
* Desirable: Experience in insurance claims handling, fraud, or intelligence
