Our client is a unique startup with a mission to harness artificial intelligence for the visually impaired. They have developed an innovative, smart, wearable device with an intuitive interface to improve the daily lives of people with disabilities.
They are seeking to recruit an exceptional individual to join their team of successful Field Sales Managers. This full-time, permanent position is home office based with travel requirements.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in business development, field sales, customer success, or marketing; optician or optometrist background is a plus but not required
* Excellent people skills, including negotiation
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter with effective time management
* Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
* Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
* Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
* Experience working with elderly and individuals with special needs
* Technologically savvy with advanced Microsoft Office skills
Job Responsibilities
* Drive business development and sales within the UK
* Manage relationships with resellers, opticians, and clinics
* Promote awareness within the low vision ecosystem by collaborating with assistive technology agencies and community organizations
* Present and demonstrate the product to opticians and potential users
* Participate in marketing activities, events, and trade shows
* Provide training on device use, benefits, and value to users and organizations
* Coordinate daily with team members, report activities, and participate in meetings and calls
Measurement of Success
* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
* Receive positive feedback from partners and customers
