Position: SEN Teaching Assistant / 1:1 Support

Contract Type: Full-time, long term (Temp to perm is possible)
Salary: £85-£105 a day
Hours: 8:30-15:30 Mon-Fri

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our thriving SEN schools in the heart of Sandwich, Kent.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
* Assisting the Class Teacher in creating and implementing tailored learning plans.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitoring and recording students' progress and contributing to progress reviews.
* Participating in training and professional development opportunities.
* Supporting the pupils emotionally alongside their studies.
Experience and Requirements:
* Experience working with children, young people or adults with SEN.
* A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with students.
* A driving licence is preferred due to the location of the school.
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
* A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
