About the firm
Our client is a highly respected, full-service law firm with a distinguished reputation, operating from three offices across Surrey. Known for their commitment to excellence, they have consistently earned recognition and accolades, including being highly ranked in the Legal 500. They are looking for a further solicitor, conveyancer or legal executive to join their dynamic property team.
Responsibilities
* Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to post-completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds.
* Provide clear legal advice and maintain proactive communication with clients and third parties to ensure smooth transactions.
* Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current legislation, SRA, AML regulations, and firm policies.
* Resolve conveyancing issues efficiently and support team collaboration, offering guidance where needed.
* Stay up to date with legal developments and contribute to business development to grow the practice.
What they’re looking for
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain legal matters clearly.
* Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
* High level of accuracy in document preparation and file management.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong commitment to client care and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
* High ethical standards and professional integrity.
