Role Description
We are seeking a Logistics Manager for our team at We Move It Limited. This is a full-time, on-site role based near Tring in Hertfordshire. The Logistics Manager will oversee daily operational activities, including managing those responsible for the quoting and booking of deliveries, coordination of vehicle movements, managing transportation schedules, and ensuring timely delivery and collection of vehicles.
Responsibilities also include managing our large community of trade plate and trailer drivers, liaising with clients to maintain excellent service standards, and optimising supply chain workflows. The successful candidate will also be involved in procurement processes, fleet maintenance and compliance and office team management to achieve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Ability to lead, develop and inspire professional office based and field based teams.
Proficiency in Customer Service and effective client relationship management.
Motivated for continual CRM and client base development and growth.
Exceptional organisational, time-management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teams in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
Flexibility to role up your sleeves and get involved with all aspects of the business when required.
