What you will be doing! Building & Resident Safety


Responsibilities

* Support the implementation of the Building Safety Act 2022, ensuring the building remains safe for all occupants.
* Monitor and regulate access to the property, controlling entry for suppliers, contractors, and visitors in accordance with procedures.
* Conduct regular internal/external inspections, patrols, and communal area checks including temperature monitoring and Health & Safety compliance.
* Respond appropriately to any situation that may jeopardise the safety or wellbeing of residents, staff, or the organisation.
* Act as Emergency Contact in line with the Crisis Management Plan when Senior Managers are unavailable.
* Maintain accurate access logs and inventory for all keys, fobs, and access cards.
* Ensure full awareness of fire safety procedures, attend drills, and understand evacuation routes and emergency equipment locations.


Customer Service & Stakeholder Engagement

* Deliver sincere, courteous, bespoke, and prompt interactions in-person, via app, and over the phone.
* Anticipate stakeholder needs by interpreting nonverbal cues, asking proactive questions, and taking thoughtful action.
* Follow up on requests to ensure completion and resident satisfaction, aiming to exceed expectations.
* Maintain awareness of cultural, demographic, and social differences when delivering service.
* Maintain and utilise stakeholder preference records to deliver personalised experiences.
* Build and sustain relationships with local businesses and service providers to enhance the resident experience.


Front of House Operations

* Participate in day and night shift rotation, ensuring full coverage and adherence to schedules.
* Manage post, packages, and deliveries, ensuring accurate logging and timely communication.
* Ensure all visitor, contractor, and delivery logs are up-to-date and accurate.
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and uphold building security protocols at all times.
* Operate and maintain a detailed daily log, capturing incidents, resident requests, and shift handovers.


Event Support & Amenity Activation

* Assist in the planning and coordination of events to promote resident engagement and use of amenity spaces.


Team Training & Collaboration

* Assist in training new starters, supporting inductions, and raising concerns to the Operations Manager as needed.
* Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to communication and improvement of service standards.
* Support the updating and upkeep of the Concierge Manual and SOPs.
* Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Senior Managers to support day-to-day operations.


Administration & Communication

* Maintain a clean, professional, and organised Front of House and shared workspace.
* Track and escalate complaints, incidents, and service issues to ensure resolution.
* Communicate promptly with managers about resident requests, incidents, or operational changes.
* Ensure guest announcements are made as per resident instructions.


Health & Safety Compliance

* Understand and comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and all relevant regulations.
* Accurately record accidents and incidents in line with internal Health & Safety policies.
* Only perform tasks for which you are qualified and trained.


Confidentiality & Data Security

* Maintain strict confidentiality in all dealings with resident and organisational information in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
* Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of both computerised and manual data systems, in accordance with data protection procedures.
