The Role:
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their expanding team. You will play a pivotal role in managing the design process across multiple projects, ensuring smooth coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. This is an exciting opportunity to influence project outcomes from pre-construction through to delivery, working on a diverse range of high-profile schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design process for assigned projects, from concept through to completion
* Coordinate and manage design consultants, subcontractors, and in-house teams
* Review and manage design risks and resolve technical issues
* Ensure designs meet client requirements, budgets, and relevant regulations
* Support planning and procurement processes with timely design information
* Oversee the production and review of technical drawings and specifications
* Attend project and client meetings as required
* Ensure all designs adhere to statutory regulations and company standards
About You:
* Proven experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and design coordination
* Background working across residential and commercial projects
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
