What you'll be doing…
As an Account Director, you’ll work alongside our Head of Client Services to manage our client success team, which is made up of talented Account Managers & Execs working across a wide portfolio of clients.
You'll bring a holistic view of social, working with all of our internal departments (Organic Social, Paid Media, Influencer & Creative) to deliver outstanding retained & project work.
You'll lead a team, managing core client relationships from a social strategy and client success perspective. You'll work with our Head of Client Services to develop our CS approach and bring our internal departments together to deliver full-service accounts for our clients.
* Building & developing your own and the agency's approach to Client Services
* Applying original thought and creative thinking for always on and above & beyond campaigns.
* Work in true collaboration with senior clients and be responsible for Brand Guardianship on their projects to ensure the client experience is as positive as possible.
* Financial experience in accounts, including profitability, accuracy of forecasting, late payment, as well as fee negotiation, and providing regular and timely reports
* Lead a team to own the execution of projects and timelines and manage expectations through catch-ups with all departments and weekly account/project management.
* Accountable for the delivery of growth targets for the account.
* Build client relationships & be a key escalation point for your clients and team.
* Train your team on everything from client and account management to campaign delivery.
* Work alongside our Leadership Team to drive forward new business initiatives and implement process improvements and ideas to drive the growth of our CS offering.
Requirements
* You'll have 6+ years of experience within an agency with a specific background or experience in social, in a client services role, with at least 1 year in a senior role at your current employer.
* A broad understanding of marketing and the channels our clients operate in, both offline and online, and how social can impact/be impacted by other marketing channels.
* Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships, but more importantly, the ability to train and lead a team to do this.
* Excellent account leadership skills with developed financial and commercial acumen, creative judgment, strategic thinking, talent management and business growth
* A proven track record of commercial growth across new and existing business
* First-rate communication skills, with the ability to be articulate in person and in writing, with strong presentation skills to deliver information in an effective manner.
* The ability to manage and develop junior team members, with a focus on growth and training.
* You'll have experience in managing invoices and budget sign-off for a team.
* You'll be a highly organised individual with a keen eye for detail and a solution-led approach to problem-solving.
* You’ll have experience managing multiple team members.
* You are an enthusiastic & passionate person who genuinely cares about your work and instils the same passion in your direct reports.
