* £40,000 - £48,000 per annum
Are you looking to advance your legal career with a dynamic and forward-thinking firm? We’re seeking a talented and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join a growing team, working across the Milton Keynes and Northampton offices.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE to develop their career within a supportive environment that values professional growth, flexibility, and community engagement.
The Role
You’ll handle a broad range of private client matters, advising clients on:
* Wills and estate planning
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Trusts (including Declarations of Trust)
* Court of Protection applications
* Probate and estate administration
* You’ll take client instructions, manage your own caseload under supervision, and play an active role in the development and marketing of the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage private client matters from instruction through to completion
* Provide excellent client care and maintain high professional standards
* Supervise and support junior and administrative staff
* Assist with departmental marketing and business development
* Maintain Lexcel accreditation standards and file management procedures
* Ensure effective time recording and achievement of targets
* Work collaboratively within a friendly, professional team
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with 3–5 years PQE in Private Client law
* Experience across Wills, LPAs, Probate, and Trusts
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Client-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
* Willingness to pursue STEP or SFE membership (or already a member)
