Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of food production in the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
* Prepare and present high-quality meals in accordance with our menu standards.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
* Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
* Ensure that the kitchen is organised, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Exceptional culinary skills with creativity in menu planning and presentation.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.
* A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
