We’re working with a growing organisation in Leeds that’s looking for an experienced HR professional to join them as a Human Resources Team Lead on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend to 6 months.
Reporting to the Head of People Operations, this is a hands-on role where you’ll be leading a small but busy People Operations team — while also getting stuck in with day-to-day tickets, employee queries, and process improvements.
Package:
* Leeds, hybrid – 2-3 days a week in the office
* 3 month FTC, with potential for extension to 6 months
* Full-time (37.5 hours)
The role:
* Leading, motivating and developing a small team
* Handling employee queries and operational tasks via the support desk
* Supporting the integration of new processes and HR systems
* Overseeing payroll and benefits processes
* Managing contractors and ensuring IR35 compliance
* Driving process improvements and enhancing the employee experience
About you:
* A confident People Ops professional with team leadership experience
* Comfortable juggling operational delivery and strategic input
* Strong payroll and systems knowledge
* Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
