About the Role
As an Early Careers Development Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future for our Early Careers (EC) cohorts. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing a delivery portfolio of new entrant development programmes.
* Conducting analysis, planning, and designing training programmes.
* Delivering and evaluating training, while providing individual learning and pastoral support from welcome and induction to first post deployment.
* Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to successfully deliver our development programmes across Drax.
* Facilitating stakeholder governance groups.
This is a home-based role with regular travel to Selby, London, and Ipswich, where our early careers learners are based. Occasional travel to Scotland will also be required, so a driving licence and flexibility to travel are essential.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with a passion for early careers and development! While previous experience in Early Careers or learning and development is desirable, it’s not essential. What truly matters is:
* The ability to confidently liaise and manage a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience in project planning and coordination of learning programmes.
* Strong communication skills, with experience in delivering training and development sessions to graduates, interns, apprentices, and work experience cohorts.
* Familiarity with skills and apprenticeship models and funding is a bonus!
