Support Worker/Personal Assistant Ref: DP5074 Location: Worthing Details This role is to support a Child The candidate should be a woman* Drivers licence required: No Employment status: Employed or Self-employed Hours per week: Alternate Saturdays during term time and evenings/school holidays flexible hours on offer Hourly pay rate: £15.00 to £17.00 depending on experience - Support worker needed for a 16 year old girl with cerebral palsy. Hours 9.30 to 4.30 every other Saturday, plus potential for 1 evening a week (flexible) and adhoc hours available when mutually agreed during school holidays and evenings. We are looking for someone to help my daughter who has just finished her GCSEs and is looking towards beginning college in September 2026. She needs support to access the community in her powerchair as well as some help with personal care. Her hobbies include crafting, gaming, cooking, walking her small dog, going to cafes and restaurants, shopping, cinema and swimming. She also likes to chill out at home. She can be very chatty when she has gotten to know people, but shy to start with. She will need assistance to transfer on to the toilet and with getting dressed/showering. Relevant manual handling experience would be advantageous. Full training will be given so we are also happy to consider applicants with minimal experience, but a positive and enthusiastic approach is a must. We welcome informal visits for people considering applying for the job.
