About us
We are a large training practice based in Ilkeston with approximately 18,000 patients, including a small branch in West Hallam. Our team comprises 6 GP partners, 8 salaried GPs, ANPs, pharmacists, practice nurses, HCAs, and a strong administrative staff.
We are part of the Erewash Health Partnership, which includes 7 local practices, enabling us to develop effective services such as visiting services, FCP, on-day services, pharmacists, mental health workers, chaplains, and a frailty team. We collaborate closely with social prescribers and care coordinators.
GPs work 15-minute appointments, with a home visiting and frailty service covering care homes and most acute home visits. We aim to meet the BMA's recommended 25 appointments per day where possible.
Education and innovation are central to our practice. We are a training practice for the Derby Training Scheme, hosting medical students, training nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals. We are involved in clinical research and continuously explore new ways to meet the evolving demands of general practice.
We are high QoF achievers and rated as outstanding by the CQC.
