Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS, with a TLR2 available for a suitable candidate A large, vibrant 11-18 academy in central Birmingham is seeking a committed French Teacher to join its established Modern Foreign Languages department. This is an excellent opportunity for a linguist who enjoys working with a genuinely multilingual student body and who wants to play a part in raising the profile of language learning across the school. The successful candidate will teach French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (AQA), with the possibility of A-level teaching for the right candidate. You will be expected to plan lessons that build students' confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, making effective use of the department's digital language platforms. Responsibilities also include helping to organise the department's annual exchange visit to France, supporting EAL students within MFL lessons, and contributing to whole-school language and culture days.
