The Job Mission
This role supports the delivery of high-value nuclear and energy projects, ensuring effective integration across planning, resources, contracts, and stakeholders.
You’ll work alongside Senior Project Managers to deliver complex work packages.
Your future team ensures safety, cost, and schedule performance on mission-critical programmes.
⚡️ Assist Senior Project Manager to implement strategies aligned to programme execution plan
⚡️ Secure resources, maintain SQEP standards, and identify project personnel needs
⚡️ Drive delivery of contract/package activities to scope, budget, schedule and safety standards
⚡️ Track project progress, risks, milestones and provide regular stakeholder reporting
⚡️ Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with integrated programme planning
⚡️ Anticipate, manage and escalate risks, issues, and commercial challenges
⚡️ Capture lessons learnt and embed knowledge sharing as business-as-usual practice
⚡️ Interface across multiple programmes, adopting best practice and ensuring compliance
Qualifications
Essential Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of leadership in complex, highly regulated projects
Proficient numeracy, analytical and critical reasoning skills
Skilled in estimating, scheduling, programming, risk and Earned Value Management tools
Understanding of CDM Regulations and nuclear quality assurance requirements
Degree in engineering, construction or related field (desirable but not essential)
Professional qualification in project management (APM PPQ or equivalent desirable)
Demonstrated project management experience including:
- Engineering design, contract, and field execution strategies
- Multi-discipline EPCM projects
- Construction management activities
- Procurement and management of complex contracts
- Control of costs, risk, schedule, and change
- Management of commercial claims and negotiation experience
Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and facilitation skills

✔️ Working knowledge of CDM Regulations

✔️ Understanding of nuclear quality requirements and assurance processes
✔️ Experience operating within NEC and FIDIC commercial arrangements
✔️ Direct experience in regulated energy or nuclear project environments
