Axcis Education is recruiting an experienced and dynamic school Business Manager to support the smooth and efficient running of secondary SEND School based in Exeter. This pivotal role will work closely with the School Business Lead, taking responsibility for a wide range of administrative, financial and operational functions, and stepping in to oversee these areas during their absence. The successful candidate will guide and support the school’s busy administrative team, ensuring consistent high-quality service that positively impacts staff, pupils and the wider school community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership experience in an education setting who thrives in a varied, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities The Business Manager will: Support the School Business Lead with the management of school operations, including finance, administration, and general organisational functions. Lead the day-to-day work of the admin team, fostering a positive and solution-focused culture. Ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining accuracy and professionalism in all administrative tasks. Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement across operational areas.
