Job Summary North East Shropshire market town. Friendly, forward‑thinking, progressive training practice working from a purpose‑built spacious health centre (2005). Drayton Medical Practice is looking for an enthusiastic part‑time Salaried GP of up to 6 sessions. ANP, UCP, Physician Associate and Pharmacists contribute a vital role in serving a diverse population of circa 18,000 patients. Minor Injuries service. North Shropshire PCN and partner practice of Our Health Partnership. EMIS total triage model. Job includes pro‑rata extended hours commitment. Tier 2 visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.
Make yourself available in accordance with the practice timetable for surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, home visits, dealing with repeat prescriptions, paperwork and correspondence.
Make professional, autonomous decisions regarding presenting problems, whether self‑referred or referred from other health‑care workers within the organisation.
Assess the health‑care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease‑management protocols.
Collect data for audit purposes and prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary.
Attend training and events organised by the practice or other agencies, where appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
Inclusion on the NHS England performers list.
Experience of working in a primary‑care environment.
Experience of continued professional development.
Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
General understanding of the GMS contract.

Contract and Remuneration Permanent, part‑time. Salary: £12,574 per session. Tier 2 visa sponsorship available.
