Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
1. You’ll provide pro-active and comprehensive claims assessment and management services for a defined account portfolio, and checking liability with your authority level
2. Assessing and triaging Group Protection claims, deciding what medical evidence to obtain in line with the Company’s philosophies
3. Providing a comprehensive assessment of Group Protection claims and determining liability, while meeting the expectations of their clients and stakeholders
4. Cultivating effective relationships with IFA’s and Policyholders (employers), to maximise the effectiveness of their benefit management processes, including the provision of support for the portfolio management of defined schemes
Experience required:
5. Triaging and assessing new Group Protection claims, deciding what medical evidence is needed
6. Carrying out detailed assessments to determine liability within agreed authority levels
7. Building strong relationships with intermediaries, employers and stakeholders
8. Proposing rehabilitation or work reintegration support where cost effective
