Overview
Conveyancer / Solicitor / Legal Executive — Locations: Exmouth, Chard & Taunton. Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 DOE. Type: Full-time (flexible working considered).
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional law firm who are continuing to grow their Conveyancing teams across Somerset and Devon.
The Roles
Exmouth & Chard
We are seeking Conveyancers / Junior Solicitors / Legal Executives who are confident managing their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
* Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
* Ideal for fee earners looking to develop within a supportive team
Taunton
A more senior opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer or Solicitor, ideally with some exposure to supervising or mentoring a small team.
* Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
* Opportunity to take on added responsibility within a growing department
Responsibilities
* Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
* Handling sales, purchases, and associated matters
* Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties
* Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and compliantly
* (Taunton role) Supporting and guiding junior team members
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancer
* Proven experience running a caseload independently
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Team-focused, professional, and client-driven approach
* For the Taunton role, some team management or mentoring experience is desirable
Working Arrangements
* Roles are ideally full-time and office-based
* Flexible working / some WFH can be considered for the right candidate
