Rust Engineer - Manchester - Up to £65K - Hybrid (2 Days On-Site)
A Manchester-based, investment-backed software house is looking for a Rust Engineer to join the team. They have had a strong couple of years, secured new funding, and are now looking to scale with plans to expand into Europe over the next 12-18 months. The team is based in the Northern Quarter and works on a hybrid model (usually 2 days in the office), but they are flexible when needed. The culture is collaborative, outgoing, and fast-paced.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain high-quality Rust applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to design and implement scalable solutions
* Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews
* Assist with containerization and deployment workflows as needed
Qualifications
* Commercial experience with Rust
* Comfortable with functional programming concepts
* Some exposure to Docker/Kubernetes
* Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
