Job Description
The Account Managers main objective is to represent our client in a defined sales territory and drive the growth of consumable revenue in alignment with the UK business strategy. Dedicated to exceeding customer expectations continuously, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction, and achievement of revenue commitments.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Maximise sales in the assigned territory by acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
* Advocate and embody a High-Performance culture with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
* Collaborate effectively with the UK business team, promoting a team-oriented approach to success.
* Possess a growth mindset and a hunter instinct to proactively seek new opportunities.
* Develop and execute a robust territory business plan, coordinating resources efficiently to deliver exceptional results.
* Coordinate internally to address customer requirements within a defined territory.
* Ensure utmost customer satisfaction by working closely with the internal customer support function.
* Drive market strategies and campaigns in line with the UK strategy to gain maximum traction across a defined territory.
* Follow up on all customer requirements until closure, providing effective solutions.
* Identify appropriate product ranges and explore bundling opportunities to optimise revenue.
* Take responsibility for organising exhibitions and trade shows within the designated territory.
* Manage key accounts strategically to increase market share across the full portfolio.
* Establish a prominent presence in key accounts to strengthen our client's position as a valuable partner in respiratory, critical care, and anesthesia consumables.
* Develop, execute, and refine annual sales business plans to exceed regional budget commitments.
* Maintain customer profiles, track key stakeholders, and generate valuable insights to enhance customer relationships.
* Ensure compliance with regional agreements and work towards achieving agreed order quantities from customers.
* Continually explore opportunities to deliver added value to customers across our client's portfolio and services.
* Provide quarterly sales forecasts aligned with the UK strategy and budget requirements.
* Collaborate closely with the demand planning team to ensure optimal stock availability and exceed customer expectations.
* Implement exceptional territory planning to identify new revenue streams and opportunities (funnel management).
* Execute on business opportunities and manage the pipeline diligently to consistently surpass territory revenue expectations.
* Hold full accountability for territory business strategy to achieve growth targets.
* Adhere to company policies and processes, maintaining high ethical standards in all interactions.
* Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education:
Degree level education or equivalent is preferred.
Essential:
* Background in clinical procurement, consumable, or respiratory sales.
* Strong experience in respiratory, critical care, or anesthesia domains is advantageous.
* Proven track record of successful sales, preferably in the acute setting with consumable products.
* In-depth understanding of healthcare systems and procurement processes.
* Strong analytical skills to identify and capitalise on opportunities.
* Natural hunter with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to build trust and maintain strong customer relationships.
* High level of business acumen with the capability to develop financial proposals.
* Proactive, results-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
* Skilled at handling complexity and managing multiple priorities effectively.
* Ability to perform under pressure and convert strategies into tangible results.

License:
Possession of a valid clean UK driving license.
Travel Requirements:
Frequent travel within a defined territory is required. Some UK and international travel may be necessary.
